Conditions

• English Matters welcomes participants aged 10 and above
• each participant who enrols in a course/lesson is entitled to a free 15-minute introductory meeting during which his/her level of English is assessed and any specific needs are determined
• prices for in-situ training for professionals include travel expenses on condition that the company where training takes place is within a 25-km radius from English Matters.  For greater distances travel expenses will apply
• lessons start and end at the pre-arranged time.  Lessons will not be extended in case of the visiting client’s late arrival
• free cancellations up to 24 hrs prior to the scheduled session(s); after that, the participant will be charged the full cost of the scheduled lesson(s)
• for sessions of two hours or longer a ten-minute coffee/tea break is included after each hour.  Also during these breaks English is spoken
• summer courses take place during the 4th week of July and 1st week of August, from Monday through Friday, 9am until 12.30pm.  Grouping of students according to proficiency level.  Min 4 and max 5 participants
• payment for private lessons at the end of each session 
• language classes for private individuals are exempt from VAT; 21% VAT is applicable to companies and self-employed participants
• students bring pen and paper
• English Matters operates a strict non-smoking policy
• Dutch lessons available upon request
